Need an assessment?
Here are the types of assessments I perform in my office – and with a quick turn-around.
Psychological Assessments
Psychological assessments are useful for many reasons.
Two uses of assessments are…
Helping you figure out what is wrong and what to do about it
or
Helping you make your case in a legal situation.
Neurocognitive Assessments
Neurocognitive assessments can be used to explore a possible decline in memory, emerging dementia, help inform level of care needed, and to help determine if someone still has the capacity to make good sound decisions.
Many people have this type of assessment for themselves or for their loved ones to get a baseline of cognitive functioning, so they know what they are dealing with or what is coming their way. This way they can intervene to slow and/or reverse any decline.
Other specific types of assessments performed in my office include:
- Immigration Assessments
- Law Enforcement Evaluations
- Employment Evaluations
- Medical Evaluations:
- Bariatric Surgery Candidates
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Candidates
- Spine Surgery Candidates
How it works…
My process is simple and straightforward. In most cases, an assessment takes about two hours. In those two hours, I will conduct the clinical interview, have you fill out some self-report measures on paper and maybe on the computer. Then I take the data, write a report, and meet with you within a week in most cases to review the results. You leave my office with report in hand!
